The moment Chester put the missing piece in place, he felt something in the air change.
The little girl’s eyes blinked and the birds in the completed picture began to flutter their wings.
The whole jigsaw picture is coming to life!
Chester stared at the picture in amazement : “A moving picture!”
The little girl tried to jump over the window pane, as if she wanted to catch the two birds inside.
The birds seemed to be sleeping on the table after lunch.
“Am I dreaming?”Chester touched one bird in the picture.
The bird seemed to be startled, and tried to flee through the window.
Although Chester could feel the feathers of the bird, he could not get hold of it.
The bird flew away, while the other bird was just stirred from its nap.
The little girl seemed to be angry about Chester’s move : “That’s my bird!”
“Sorry, I did not mean it…” Chester replied.
Chester used his pencil to draw a cage over the bird on the table, and said:
“Dear little girl, you can take your bird now.”
The little girl finally reached the cage through the window and held it happily in hand.
However, the bird in the cage looked sad, as if missing its partner who just flew away.
The little girl looked at the bird and fell silent.
What will happen to the little girl and the bird in the cage?
Good night, dear children. Have a nice dream.
